No-fuss sleep success: Sascha (5 months)

Sascha is a relaxed and really cheerful 5 month old baby. She sleeps quite well and we make no fuss about sleep at all ourselves. She seems to be doing very well on that.

So far sleeping is actually going well and we’re happy with it.

From the start we’ve made no fuss about sleep, we let her sleep wherever she would fall asleep, did not keep a super solid rhythm, we're not especially quiet …

About crying to sleep

Crying briefly is OK, up to three minutes I wait, then I always go in and check. When she’s upset I go in and comfort her immediately.

What works for us: a combination of a dummy/pacifier, blanket or cuddly cloth and tucking in tightly.
