My friends and I are amazed at how the "shushing" sound immediately calms our fussy newborns (especially in conjunction with swaddling). One friend in particular is unable to make the shush loud enough and found the Iphone Baby Shusher App to be very helpful. She uses it in the car, stroller & crib.

The sound is similar to what baby heard in the womb, and is instantly soothed by it.

Love this product!!!

Thanks Jill for this review, really interesting this app.

I wonder if you also use the timer function and actually leave the iphone near baby - or would only keep it near her until she sleeps (or is soothed).
